Where is FrontKon held?

We're looking forward to seeing you at O2 Universum, Českomoravská 2345/17, 190 00 Prague 9.

How do I get there by public transport?

The nearest metro station is Českomoravská (line B). O2 Universum is right at the metro exit. You can also take tram number 1, 10, or 16, stop Českomoravská.

How do I get to the conference by car?

O2 Universum offers paid parking in underground garages. Alternatively, you can use parking spaces in the surrounding area.

Is accommodation available nearby?

Yes, there are several hotels near O2 Universum. After purchasing a ticket, you'll receive accommodation recommendations near the conference in your confirmation email. But keep in mind that accommodation capacity is limited. So first come, first served. 🙂

What should I bring?

For entry to the conference, you'll need a valid ticket with a barcode that you'll show at registration. We think eco-friendly, so of course it's enough to have it on your phone. Otherwise, don't forget a good mood and defrag your brain, because it's going to get loaded!

Can I buy a ticket at the venue?

Last year it was sold out a month before the event, so definitely secure your ticket in advance.

What awaits me at FrontKon besides talks?

In addition to halls with a packed program full of talks and workshops, you can look forward to a chill-out zone, speakers corner, partner booths, and a photo booth. There's definitely something to look forward to! After the official program ends, an afterparty follows, which will be right at O2 Universum for easy access.

How will food be provided during the day?

Water, coffee, and tea will be available free of charge all day. For Early Bird ticket holders and tickets including lunch and Community Supporter tickets, prepared meals will be served at the restaurant on site. In the second half of September, you'll receive an email where you can select your meal. Options include: Meat option: Pork goulash with bread dumplings. Gluten-free and lactose-free option: Chicken breast with skin, ratatouille. Vegetarian option: Lasagna with crushed tomatoes, spinach, and béchamel. Vegan option: Vegetable curry with coconut milk, jasmine rice. Additional refreshments can be purchased on site. We're preparing a selection of savory and sweet snacks and of course beverages.

What should I do if I want to add just lunch?

Write to us at konference@frontendisti.cz and we'll discuss the options.

What language will the talks be in?

Almost all talks will be in Czech, but some talks may be in English. In 2026, we're adding more international speakers and the conference will be English-friendly. We believe this won't be a problem for you.

Will recordings of talks be available?

We plan to have recordings of talks and will gradually publish them on our YouTube after the conference. But we can't guarantee this for all talks. So it's better to come in person and experience the power of the community firsthand.
